Treating Scartissue is often the key to an overall improvement in the patient’s wellbeing
Teaching language and script: English
The course is translated into German.
Here is a short introduction from Phillip Strong filmed in Australia:
Ask your patients: „What traumas / accidents did you experience in your life?“ You may be surprised that their main problem is very often linked to the fact that this trauma has affected a channel or a partnering channel connected to it. The main problem is that in one of these meridian systems the flow of qi and blood is disturbed.
This workshop is about how scar tissue negatively affects the physiological functions of the body, weakens the immune system and thus the healing process.
It discusses how such complaints develop over time and how they affect the meridian system.
- Yin-Yang Relationships
- Polarities in the organ clock
- Five elements and their different cycles (sheng, ke and wu cycles)
Philip Strong teaches you scar treatment skills and strategies using 3 of the 9 classic needle techniques and will give you an overview of the history and use of the Teishin Needle.
One patient case
The participants will be able to observe and evaluate the following details on different scars:
- Color changes mostly dark or light
- Temperature of the scar and its surroundings
- Skin structure and surface texture – fullness / emptiness
- Patient feedback on touch sensations such as pain, numbness
Trauma, emotional stress, post-traumatic stress disorder and the gallbladder channel will also be discussed in this course.
Frequently, in disorders associated with scars, the Gallbladder meridian occupies a special position. The outer pathway and the entry points to the inner pathways that lead to the organs and glands in the skull are demonstrated.
- Participants with pulse experience feel the middle postions and describe what they feel before and during the treatment of the scar by Philip Strong.
- The patients describe what they feel.
- After the treatment, the pulse is again observed.
This is repeated with a number of patients.
Finally, questions can be clarified.
IMPORTANT: Bringing in patients for teaching demonstrations
