This very practical 3-day course focuses on understanding and treating common cosmetic problems (wrinkles, acne, hair loss, dark circles, seborrhoea, obesity, cellulite, ...) with Chinese medicine - acupuncture, massage, cupping, herbal applications.

Course description

Cosmetic acupuncture has existed in China for centuries. It is considered one of the secrets of the richest and most powerful women in ancient China. There is also documentation of the Emperor's wives receiving acupuncture treatments and special herbal formulations for cosmetic purposes.

Today, cosmetic acupuncture is very popular all over the world, and is an excellent alternative to aesthetic surgery. There is a strong demand from patients who use cosmetic acupuncture as a natural anti-ageing treatment and place great emphasis on healthy living.

After this course you will be able to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge directly in your practice and expand your treatment spectrum.

On 8 + 9 June 2024, an advanced course in cosmetic acupuncture will be held at ABZ MITTE, focusing on facial acupuncture and face lifting.

COURSE STRUCTURE:

Prior to the start of the practical course, handouts (PDF) and online video material (approx. 8 hours in total) will be made available to participants as early as January 2024. An exam on the theoretical basics can be taken (necessary to receive the additional 10 online credit hours).

• Internal organs and their influence on cosmetic aspects
• Anatomy of the face - skull, muscles, nerves, lymph nodes, skin

Diagnosis and treatment of common cosmetic problems

• General aetiologies
• Wrinkles
• Pigmentation
• Acne
• Hair and scalp disorders
• Loose facial muscles
• Drooping eyes
• Dark circles under the eyes

CONTENTS 3-DAY PRESENCE COURSE:

On the three presence days in the ABZ MITTE, work is exclusively practical, as the theoretical basics have been worked out in advance via the online materials. Patient presentations are possible.
