Musculoskeletal pain is one of the most frequent reasons for consultation in acupuncture clinics. Based on the experience of Dr. Umberto Mazzanti, acupuncture and osteopathic medicine are two effective techniques to treat pain that can be synergistically combined for even more effective treatments. The specific method developed by Dr. Mazzanti and taught in this course is the Mazzanti AcuOsteo Method®.
Often pain is reported over a widespread area of a joint and accompanied by some joint-rigidity. In many instances it is difficult to identify the exact acupuncture channel intersecting the musculoskeletal pain-area. Osteopathic manipulations aim to move joints back to their physiological position to reduce pain and limitation of movement. This assists in more clearly identifying the affected channel. This channel can then be treated by acupuncture.
This seminar has a large practical part. This ensures that acupuncture practitioners learn the actual clinical application of the discussed acupuncture and osteopathic techniques (Mazzanti AcuOsteo Method®). Participants will be able to use the information and apply the techniques immediately after the course.
The seminar has a large practical session with patients.
The course is in English language.
